Newsletter 02

The European project Senior4Sustainability, has started with an exercise of collection of best practices to ensure that each partner addresses common issues to an agreed depth and according to ground-breaking techniques and knowledge extracted from references of excellence.

This report has also included results from new surveys and debates organized with the elderly, active ageing staff, and stakeholders, namely through each partner’s network.

The best practice report (PR1) is a multidisciplinary evidence-based state-of-threat presented in a form of a report that presents best practice on senior education for nature conservation, collated from all Europe.

Consequently, the output will establish the main guidelines for the project’s framework and inspirational role models.

PR1 will also be a deliverable with transferability value that any interested entity in the project topics may consult, adapt to their work or use as guide for the implementation of senior volunteer programs.
